We are looking for a Coating/Painting Inspector on behalf of the final Client for the TPI of EPC fabrication works at Arbatax Yard, Sardinia, Italy.

Third-Party Inspection and Quality Control

• Conduct independent third-party inspections of coating and painting applications to ensure they meet the Client's project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Verify the implementation and effectiveness of Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) related to coating and painting.

Compliance and Standards Verification

• Ensure all coating and painting operations comply with industry standards (e.g., NACE, FROSIO, ICorr), Client's specifications, and client requirements.
• Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and standards to ensure alignment with requirements.

Documentation and Reporting

• Collect, review, and maintain accurate records of inspection and quality control activities, including daily reports, inspection checklists, and non-conformance reports.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports for submission to the Client, highlighting any deviations and corrective actions taken.

Project Coordination and Communication

• Coordinate inspection schedules to ensure efficient and timely inspection activities.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss inspection findings, progress, and any issues that may impact the coating and painting quality.

Equipment and Materials Management Oversight

• Inspect and verify the calibration and suitability of coating and painting equipment used.
• Monitor the handling, storage, and application of coating and painting materials to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.

• FROSIO/NACE level 2 or ICorr Level 2 coating ticket
• Knowledge and understanding of various codes and standards
• Previous experience on large similar projects
• Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records
• Ensure that all Coating and Painting operation are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans
• Proven experience in coatings inspection within and/or oil & gas sectors, offshore and construction
