What is your role? The SAP SD Specialist will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide functional expertise, and deliver customized solutions that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of SAP SD processes. Essential Responsibilities Your day in the life of SAP SD Specialist in ITT - Configure and customize the SAP SD module to meet business requirements, including pricing, order management, billing, shipping, and logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, FI, CO) to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Conduct workshops and gather business requirements to translate them into functional specifications.
- Provide end-to-end project support, from initial scoping and design through to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Train and support end-users, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing SAP SD processes and tools.
- Stay updated with SAP SD developments, best practices, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Position Requirements What will make you our perfect match? - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an SAP SD Specialist or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration, including order-to-cash (OTC) processes, pricing, and billing.
- Proficient in integration points with SAP MM, PP, FI, and CO modules.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- SAP certification in SD module is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
