As a Service Engineer you will participate and actively contribute to ambitious growth targets of NHOA designing, crafting and implementing a world class after sales service at NHOA. You will be in charge of the after-sale activities for the Battery Energy Storage Systems installed by NHOA. Reporting directly to the Head of Service, you will perform and oversee the O&M activities with a truly customer-centric and results driven approach supporting our key costumers. Task And Duties: - Supervise and monitor remotely NHOA Energy plants to guarantee the full operation of the systems and to maximize their performances;
- Prompt remote and on-site support to the customer in terms of quick response in case of failure/fault on any components/assets to restore system functionalities in the shortest time possible;
- Answer via e-mail and/or phone to any technical inquiries escalated by the Client;
- Perform fast troubleshooting activities through plant HMI, data analysis and PLC code debug;
- Assist the Head of Service in managing Client relationships and, where needed, plant performances in order to verify compliance with contractual obligations;
- Perform as required, the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities on site, considering both electrical and minor mechanical works, in accordance with the internal and external regulations, relevant standards, and codes of practice;
- Reporting on corrective/preventive maintenance and on system analysis;
- Where applicable, coordinate third-party O&M contractors and/or NHOA suppliers in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on site, considering both electrical and minor mechanical works, in accordance with internal and external regulations, relevant standards, and codes of practice and monitoring compliance with Division of Responsibilities agreed between NHOA and the other party;
- Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to preventive and corrective maintenance, remediation, repairs, performance, in accordance with NHOA/Client guidelines;
- Keep updated spare parts and consumables available on site, tracking any equipment used and being responsible for pointing out replenishment needs;
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the Service processes and procedures by providing "from the field" feedback;
- Participation in training courses on specialized topics, locally or abroad as required;
- Where applicable, support the commissioning team on-site as required.
Requirements: - High-school Diploma in Technical subjects (electrical / mechanical / electronic or similar) or more than a three years’ working experience as electrical tester or maintainer. Engineering degree is considered as a plus;
- Previous experience in PLC testing, programming, and coding (or at least basic knowledge).
Soft skills: - Fast learning (also “training on-the-job”) on the functionality and critical issues of a product/system;
- Prioritize safety and engage in hazard/ incident reporting;
- Strong interest in growing by testing himself/herself within a competitive reality;
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills;
- Goal-oriented approach;
- Ability to work in a team with a proactive mindset and motivation;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English (knowledge of other languages – especially Spanish – would be a plus);
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Availability to travel abroad even with very short notice;
- Availability to work on shifts.
Location: Cosio Valtellino (SO) or Milan (MI), with availability to travel to Cosio Valtellino at least once per week (higher frequency required in the first months). What we offer:
