An opportunity has arisen in our Polytec Division for a Business Manager, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for a specific sales area promoting the single ply and Permatec Hot Melt products, ensuring it achieves its gross margin and turnover within the Division. Key responsibilities: - ·Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to.
- ·Develop and implement an area business plan to achieve sales and margin targets.
- ·Monitor sales and margin performance against targets and advise line manager of appropriate/necessary actions required.
- ·Liaise with Line Manager in the implementation of sales policy.
- ·Good relationships with customers are maintained and enhanced.
- ·Creative thought processes are employed in developing new business.
- ·Ability to plan journeys/routes according to customer visit priorities.
- ·Liaise and co-operate with the technical support and contractors to ensure that customer service requirements are exceeded.
- ·Always implement company policy i.e., competition compliance
- ·Appoint service approved contractor network to service region.
- ·Undertake sales/technical presentations to develop sales.
- ·Analyse market intelligence & report on competitor activity and advise on appropriate actions.
- ·Assist technical services department in establishing suitable ‘approved contractor’ networks within the business unit.
- ·Retain responsibility for contractor accounts.
