Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
We are looking for Accommodation Workforce Specialist. The identified resource, who will be placed within the Accommodation Team, will be responsible for: · Communicate and cooperate with each Functional Areas in order to guarantee accommodation services and meet the needs of the designated Client Group. · Organizing Site Visit with stakeholders around all the Clusters. · Building relationship with all the Accommodation providers. · Develop efficient Accommodation reports and data analysis methods. · Work closely with the back-office team of the Accommodation suppliers and with each single FAs + PEM too coordinate the needs of paid staff. · During games-time be available to be allocated in one of the mountain cities, providing ground-support, managing accommodation properties for the workforce. · Assist with check-in and check-out process for staff, ensuring that the accommodation properties are managed efficiently. · Act as the contact point for any accommodation-related issued from the workforce, responding to the concerns quickly and ensure issues are resolved promptly. · Coordinate with property owners to ensure properties are maintained and rooms are ready for occupancy.
· Experience in the Hotel/Tourism Industry/Data Analyst skills; · Fluent English; · Good organizational and reporting skills; · Good knowledge of revenue and booking strategies; · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word); · Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to track and maintain accurate data across multiple platforms; · Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high-pressure environment during the Games; · Ability to multitask and perform in fast-paced, multicultural environments; · Good Knowledge of Milano and possibly the mountain areas (Cortina, Val di Fiemme, Anterselva, Valtellina). · Past games experience if possible.
